Still no job. SIGH. No one wants me. NO ONE. This is probably because I am resisting applying for food jobs or retail jobs. ._. I should probably just kick my pride in the teeth and get a job at the mall pushing expensive jeans like crack already. Or something. Idk.
I recently spent $60 on Threadless, though. My unemployment did not stop me. Only one of the six shirts I bought was a gift. The rest were for me and I give no fucks because they're sexy. Like this and this.
I did however buy gifts for people using this deal from living social, which basically made the stuff I bought half off (plus I shopped in the clearance section, woo.) It's a pretty good deal if you want to buy people posters/prints, plus, though the site is called All Posters, they deceptively also have tshirts and stuff. Also those standup cardboard cut outs, which creep me out. Is anyone else creeped out by them?
Also, if anyone wants a Christmas card from me, there's still time! Idk if they'll be late for Christmas if they get mailed now but, eh, I think most of mine are non-holiday-specific anyway. I think they're mostly polar bears.

Still no luck on the job front. A relative told me he could get me a job with an attorney and I was like, "YES PLZ." No word. No work from any of the apps I've put in (even just the in-the-mall job). Also, I emailed a few of my teachers to see if they had ~connections~ and one of them forwarded me an email the head of the English Dept sent out to them looking for a proof reader, but apparently between the time he forwarded it and I emailed him, someone else got that job. So basically, no luck. I really do not want to do the food thing again if I can avoid it. =/
Since I have spare time on my hands, I'm looking for a few more psls. I'm asking my flist first because I know and love you guys and you don't suck too bad. Below is a short list of fandoms and pairings (NB: pairings aren't all romantic). I'd also be up for talking about pairings not listed; this is just a bare bones list. Also, if you want to have a look at my past characters, I might be willing to revive one of them. Or, finally, I could also do something original, though I didn't take the time to list concepts. Vampires, super heroes, etc - you guys know what I like.

IJ seems to be going down a lot lately. What's up with that? It goes down at night, which is when I'm usually on. Sad day.
I have been meaning to update my past/current character list, but that task involves html, which always bugs me. It's tedious and then, when I finish seventeen hours later, the code crashes and burns because I left out a / somewhere that takes me another seventeen hours to find. I also want a new layout for my cdj, as I'm tired of looking at this one, except that html is also involved in that. And I don't know where all the cool kids are getting their layouts these days.
In other news, I joined The Aurors, which is neat and everyone should join. It's based on this video, which everyone should watch even if you don't join the game, just because it's awesome. I'm playing The Dirty Cop. =D

Aaahhh I had things to say, but I just finished the last book of the hunger games and it made me cry so I forgot what all of it was.
Does it make me a bad person or just an English major that books make me cry more than real things?

So, I think I have my pb problems sorted out1. Woo! Though, with a cap on quidditch players, I don't know what to do with Clare. I'm thinking maybe sports reporter? Idk. I feel like she's too young to have a ~big important job~, but I can't see her like... waitressing either. She would get fired for being rude to customers. Careers are hard. Hence my own unemployment. >.>
1 Not only did I need a new Clare pb, but I didn't hold quick enough to keep Niles's pb as Andrew Garfield (sadness!) so I had to try to think of someone else who was adorable and goofy looking. Jason Ritter ftw!

I will probably app at wiztech soon. I'm bringing back Niles and Clare for certain. I haven't for sure decided on Winnie yet. I also want to bring back Brandon Graves, for those who may remember him, though I may change his background.
Clare's PB is still giving me a hard time. Jordan Hinson is old enough to be Clare currently, but all of her icons are old icons. I could icon myself newer caps, but I'm not sure if she looks Clare-y enough. Mika Boorem and Jennette Mccurdy are also old enough to be older!Clare and were originally second choices for her pb, but the trouble with them is the same: all the icons of them are of when they were younger. >.

I stumbled upon this, which is of course meant to make you look pervy (and my last three first-thoughts were the expected raunchy words), but for the first three, I thought "books" for "boo_s", "fandom" for "__ndom", and "punks" for "p_n_s". I'm not sure if I should be proud or ashamed. Probably depends on whether I'm asking Shay or Sunni.
Unrelated note - does anyone have any good suggestions for ~workout music~? I'm pretty convinced that "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from Mulan on loop is the best workout sound track ever, but that would (maybe) get tiring after a while.

So, maybe it's because I'm still in ~school mode~, or maybe it's because I'm currently reading Peter Pan and (obviously) keeping up to date on Doctor Who, but I really kinda want to write a paper comparing Eleven to Peter Pan. I highlighted quotes (KINDLES CAN DO THAT) and everything. It's sad, really.
Speaking of Doctor who, that last episode? The Doctor's Wife? Uh, super badass. ( Cut for those of you who are behind and don't want to be spoiled )
Also, my room is now in a state where I probably won't be killed in an avalanche of junk! Hurrah!
